Ugh - a bit truer than I'd like to admit. I need to get over my pack rat tendencies.
And before anyone asks, I do donate things to charity. However, I could use some spare cash thanks to some things that are coming up, so I'm looking around at consignment shops in my area. eBay isn't doing it for me, and even if I only get a few bucks, that's still better than nothing. And it also means that I'll finally, finally be able to get rid of all the crap I don't need.

Ok, so maybe this was mean. This isn't how it actually went, by the way.
But seriously, have you ever thought about it? There's no way anyone can truly love retail that much.

I have a lot of respect for people who work retail. And a lot of suspicion about people who really, really love working in it...

I've already had to deal with the, "So you have met in person, right?" question. I'm just waiting for this to be the next conversation I have with someone when I reveal my boyfriend's nationality.
This sort of thing is sort of an inside joke between the two of us.

Four full (very full) years of higher education

I may as well own up and say that this comic is, in fact, semi-autobiographical. Which means that yes, I was fat in college. Fortunately, no one knows that.
Wait. Oh, hell.
This one is based loosely on a random encounter I had with one of the popular girls from my high school class. She was working at a "lotion hut" when I saw her. She talked to me like I was an actual person, which was downright bizarre. When we ended up working at the same place during a summer in college, she at best avoided me, and at worst got nasty and treated me like crap.
Maybe I didn't waddle fast enough for her liking.
